SINCE 2013
Big Spaces was established in 2013 as the company responsible for promotion, management and marketing all the available spaces for events and short-term leases within the real estate assets of Portanuova district that has transformed the image of the city of Milan through the urban regeneration project, developed by Coima SGR.
Through an exclusive agreement, over the years Big Spaces has consolidated its role as Venue Manager within the district, positioning itself as an alternative and temporary solution capable of generating content, foot traffic, networking opportunities and revenues in all the spaces intended for lease or sale but still in search of a tenant or buyer. Big Spaces has successfully established itself first in the events market and later in the content market, becoming a go-to solution and destination for agencies and companies constantly seeking locations with strong aspirational value, both indoor and outdoor. This has enabled the realization of hundreds of high-profile events over the years, ranging from B2B conventions to B2C events, trade shows, fashion shows, gala dinners, installations, exhibitions, concerts, photo and video shoots, digital productions and temporary stores.
In 2022, Big Spaces began the collaboration with Lendlease, a global urban development company, as a strategic advisor for the development of two major urban regeneration projects in the city of Milan: MIND and Milano Santa Giulia. A new phase of growth for the company, focused on sharing the specific expertise it has acquired over the years.
